MUMBAI, India, Aug. 17 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641096733 A) filed by Mr. Syam Kumar Kunchapu on August 11, 2026, for Ai-Based Green Computing System For Carbon-Aware Data Center Resource Optimization.
Inventor includes Mr. Syam Kumar Kunchapu.
The application for the patent was published on August 14, 2026, under issue no. 33/2026.
Abstract: The present invention provides an AI-based green computing system for carbon-aware optimization of data center resources. The system acquires operational data associated with computing, storage, networking, power, cooling, workloads, thermal conditions, electricity carbon intensity, and renewable energy availability. An AI- based prediction engine processes real-time and historical data to predict workload demand, energy consumption, thermal conditions, carbon intensity, and carbon emissions over future time intervals. A carbon-aware optimization engine determines resource allocation and workload execution strategies by jointly evaluating carbon emissions, energy consumption, renewable energy utilization, cooling requirements, operating cost, workload performance, and service-level constraints. A resource orchestration module dynamically performs workload scheduling, migration, consolidation, throttling, and resource activation or deactivation. A feedback module compares predicted and measured operational outcomes to adaptively update AI models and optimization parameters, thereby reducing carbon emissions while maintaining workload performance, reliability, thermal safety, and execution requirements.
