Abstract: The present invention relates to an AI Based Industrial Power Quality Monitoring System for continuously monitoring and analyzing the electrical power quality supplied to industrial motors. The system acquires electrical signals using voltage and current sensing units and processes the acquired data to determine parameters including voltage, current, frequency, power, power factor, harmonic distortion, and voltage/current imbalance. The processed electrical data are provided to an Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (AI/ML) module, which analyzes the measured patterns and identifies normal and abnormal power-quality conditions such as voltage sag/dip, voltage swell, harmonics, imbalance, and frequency variation. The detected condition and corresponding electrical parameters are displayed through a monitoring dashboard, while an alert module can notify the operator when a predefined abnormal condition is detected. The proposed system integrates electrical sensing, data acquisition, power-quality analysis, AI/ML-based classification, monitoring, and alert generation into a unified platform for industrial motor applications. The system is intended to reduce manual monitoring, enable early identification of power-quality disturbances, and support improved reliability and operational monitoring of industrial motors.
