Abstract: The present invention relates to an AI-based system for permanent identification and lifecycle traceability of railway track fittings. The system comprises a fitting positioning unit, camera unit, AI-based machine-vision processing unit, QR code generation unit, laser control unit, laser engraving unit, verification unit and digital database. A unique identifier is generated for each railway track fitting and represented as a QR code. The camera captures the fitting surface and the AI-based processing unit determines a suitable marking region. The laser engraving unit permanently marks the QR code on the metallic fitting. The verification unit subsequently analyses the engraved mark to determine its position, quality and scannability. A verified identifier is linked with digital lifecycle information including configurable fitting, batch, date, zone, inspection and replacement information. The system provides permanent machine-readable identification, automated verification and digital traceability for railway track fittings.
