Abstract: AI Based Multilingual Government Scheme Assistant ABSTRACT OF THE INVENTION Accessing information about government welfare schemes is often challenging due to scattered resources, language barriers, and complex eligibility criteria, making it difficult for citizens to identify suitable schemes efficiently. To overcome these limitations, this project introduces an AI-driven Multilingual Government Scheme Assistant designed to simplify scheme discovery and user interaction through intelligent automation. The system processes user queries via an interactive interface, performs language identification using NL TK, and converts input into multilingual embeddings using the BAAI!bge-m3 model. F AISS is utilized for fast and efficient vector-based retrieval of relevant scheme data from a knowledge base. The retrieved information is then passed to the Falcon3 -3B-Instruct model through LangChain, enabling context-aware understanding and generation of accurate, conversational responses. The assistant delivers outputs in multiple languages, ensuring inclusivity and ease of use for diverse users. Developed using Flask and Streamlit, with Redis for optimized performance, the system provides scalable, real-time assistance, enhancing accessibility, awareness, and effective utilization of government welfare progran;s.
