Abstract: The present invention relates to the development of an AI-based pedagogical framework for teaching English language and literature in higher education that will improve the effectiveness of learning, learner engagement, and educational achievement. The framework uses artificial intelligence technologies, such as natural language processing, machine learning, intelligent tutoring systems, and adaptive learning platforms, in order to provide personalized instruction in languages and literary analysis. With ongoing assessment of learners' skills, interests, and learning styles, the proposed framework will deliver personalized instruction material, feedback on their achievements, assessments, and other learning experiences. Such an approach will allow learners to acquire new vocabulary, learn grammatical constructions, practice their skills in understanding literary texts, think critically, develop creative writing, and analyze literary works.
