Abstract: The present invention relates to an IoT-based device and system for financial management in banking institutions. The system comprises an IoT-enabled financial management device having a processing unit, data acquisition interface, communication module, secure authentication module and memory module, communicatively coupled with a financial management server through a communication network. The device acquires financial and/or operational information associated with banking operations and securely communicates the information to the financial management server. An authentication module authenticates the device prior to data communication. A data processing module processes the received information according to predefined financial-management criteria, while an anomaly detection module identifies anomalous or unauthorized conditions based on comparison with predetermined criteria and/or historical information. An alert and notification module generates corresponding outputs, and a database maintains financial-management and event records. The invention provides an integrated IoT-enabled architecture for secure acquisition, communication, processing, monitoring and management of information associated with banking financial operations.
