Abstract: ABSTRACT The present invention discloses an AI-based self-optimizing energy management system for renewable microgrids. The system comprises renewable energy generation units, an energy storage system, load units, sensors, power electronic interfaces, grid interface modules, and an AI-based control unit. The AI-based control unit uses machine learning algorithms to analyze real-time and historical operational data for forecasting load demand and renewable energy generation. Based on predictive analysis, the system autonomously optimizes energy scheduling, battery management, load prioritization, and grid interaction. The invention supports both grid-connected and islanded operation modes while improving renewable energy utilization, reducing operational cost, enhancing power quality, and ensuring reliable microgrid operation with minimal human intervention.
