Abstract: An Al-based smart modular air filtration system is disclosed for predictive and adaptive management of indoor air quality across different indoor environments and operating conditions.. The system comprises a multi-parameter sensing unit for measuring particulate matter (PM2.5/PM10), volatile organic compounds (VOC), temperature, humidity and pressure difference across a multi-stage filtration unit. A controller processes and stores the sensor information, while a CNN-LSTM based prediction unit analyses current and historical sensor data to predict short-term changes in air-quality conditions. An Adaptive Filtration Decision Engine combines measured air-quality, predicted air-quality and filtration pressure-difference information to determine a suitable filtration response. The response controls a variable- speed blower and a modular filtration unit comprising a pre-filter, NEPA filter and activated carbon filter. The modular arrangement permits filtration stages to be selected, maintained or replaced according to the application environment. Differential-pressure monitoring provides information regarding filtration-stage condition and maintenance requirement. An loT-based communication interface enables remote monitoring of sensor values, predicted air-quality condition, blower operation and filter status, while a local interface provides on-site information and alerts. The system thereby provides environment-dependent predictive filtration and adaptive airflow control for different indoor applications.
