MUMBAI, India, Aug. 12 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611070296 A) filed by Ims Engineering College, Ghaziabad on June 05, 2026, for Ai-Based Solar Energy Harvesting System For Adaptive Efficiency Optimization.

Abstract: The present invention relates to an AI-optimized solar energy harvesting device with adaptive power conversion and real-time efficiency control. The device comprises a photovoltaic energy collection unit, a sensor array, an adaptive power conversion unit, an embedded artificial intelligence controller, an energy storage interface and a load management unit. The sensor array detects irradiance, temperature, voltage, current, battery condition, load demand and other operating parameters. The artificial intelligence controller processes real-time and historical data to determine an optimum operating point and generates control signals for adjusting converter operation, charging behaviour, load distribution, thermal regulation and, where applicable, panel orientation. The device is further configured to detect partial shading, dust accumulation, thermal inefficiency and abnormal output conditions. By integrating artificial intelligence directly with power electronics and solar harvesting hardware, the invention improves usable energy extraction, enhances battery life, reduces energy loss and provides reliable operation under variable environmental and load conditions.
