Abstract: The present invention relates to an AI-based system and method for predicting structural failure in buildings using multi-source condition analysis. The system comprises a data acquisition unit for receiving building condition data from structural sensors, visual inspection devices, environmental sensors, maintenance records, and building information records; a preprocessing engine for cleaning, normalizing, and mapping the data to structural components; a building condition profile generator for creating a dynamic baseline of building behaviour; an artificial intelligence analysis engine for detecting abnormal structural patterns; a failure prediction module for generating component-wise and building-level failure probability; an explainability module for identifying contributing risk factors; and an alert module for transmitting preventive maintenance or emergency inspection recommendations. The invention predicts probable failure modes such as crack propagation, excessive deflection, foundation settlement, corrosion-induced weakening, wall instability, slab distress, column distress, and progressive collapse risk before critical failure occurs.
