Abstract: ABSTRACT: Title: AI-Based System for Detecting Volatile Organic Compounds in Sebum Samples using Metal-Oxide-Semiconductor Sensors and Method of Operation The present disclosure proposes an artificial intelligence (AI)-based system (100) for non-invasive analysis of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) from samples to classify VOC patterns associated with neurodegenerative conditions using metal-oxide-semiconductor (MOS) sensors (104). The AI-based system (100) comprises a sensor array unit (102). The AI-based system (100) utilizes a combination of seven different types of MOS sensors for capturing VOCs emitted through sample. The AI-based system (100) employs a trained artificial neural network (ANN) model to classify odor fingerprint data into multiple predefined pattern categories. The AI-based system (100) enables low-cost, early-stage pattern classification suitable for resource-limited settings.
