Abstract: The present invention relates to an artificial intelligence-based trust evaluation system for assessing the reliability of sellers, products, and marketplace participants in e- commerce platforms. The system comprises a data acquisition module, a data preprocessing module, a natural language processing module, a behavioral analysis module, a trust score calculation engine, and a user interface. The data acquisition module collects information including customer reviews, ratings, seller profiles, transaction records, delivery performance, complaint histories, and user behavior data. The data preprocessing module processes and standardizes the collected information for subsequent analysis. The natural language processing module analyzes textual reviews to determine sentiment, identify suspicious review patterns, and extract trust-related information, while the behavioral analysis module evaluates transaction consistency, review frequency, refund rates, seller responsiveness, and complaint patterns to identify potentially fraudulent or anomalous activities. The trust score calculation engine combines outputs from the analysis modules to generate and update trust scores based on predefined evaluation criteria and newly received data. The system further generates trust indicators, reliability rankings, sentiment summaries, and alerts through the user interface to support consumers and platform administrators in evaluating marketplace participants. The invention facilitates automated trust assessment, detection of suspicious activities, and data-driven decision-making in e-commerce environments.
