MUMBAI, India, July 30 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641071568 A) filed by Vassou A; and Priyadarshini. V on June 09, 2026, for Ai-Based Wearable Multi-Sensor System For Post-Stroke Gait Rehabilitation.

Inventor includes Vassou A.

The application for the patent was published on July 24, 2026, under issue no. 30/2026.

Abstract: The present invention relates to an AI-based wearable multi-sensor system (100) for post-stroke gait rehabilitation. The system (100) comprises a wearable sensor arrangement (102, 302) worn by a post-stroke patient (120, 322) to capture movement-related gait data during walking or rehabilitation exercise. A processing unit (104) receives and processes the gait data to extract gait-related features. An AI-assisted video analytics unit (112) analyses video data of the patient, and an AI-based analysis unit (106) correlates sensor data and video data to identify gait abnormality or symmetry deviation. A feedback unit (108) provides corrective feedback or stimulation during movement. A rehabilitation protocol generation module (110) updates a patient-specific rehabilitation protocol, and a rehabilitation progress database (114) stores progress data, thereby enabling closed-loop home-based gait correction and neuroplastic recovery.
