Abstract: In response to the growing need for objective and accessible evaluation methods in cricket training, this project presents an Al Cricket Performance Assessment Through a Mobile Application. The proposed system focuses on analyzing cricket-specific skills such as bowling action, batting technique, fielding movements, and basic fitness drills using only a smartphone camera. Players record their performance videos through the mobile application, eliminating the need for specialized sensors or external equipment. The system applies Al-based video analysis techniques to evaluate movement patterns, posture alignment, timing consistency, and execution accuracy. By analyzing frame-by-frame visual data, the application generates structured performance metrics and qualitative feedback that help players understand their strengths and areas for improvement. To maintain reliability, the platform incorporates basic video validation mechanisms such as duration checks, camera angle guidance, and playback consistency, reducing the possibility of incorrect or manipulated submissions. User authentication and secure profile management ensure that performance data remains associated with the correct individual. All analyzed results are stored securely in the backend and presented through clear performance summaries and progress reports. By providing a standardized, mobile-based assessment approach, the system reduces subjectivity in traditional cricket coaching methods and increases accessibility for players regardless of location or training infrastructure. This project demonstrates how artificial intelligence and mobile technology can support structured cricket performance evaluation in a cost-effective, scalable, and user-friendly manner, contributing to improved training insights and data-driven player development.
