Abstract: An AI-driven adaptive multi-layer cyber threat prediction and autonomous response system and method using behavioral digital twin technology is disclosed. The system continuously ingests multi-source network telemetry to construct dynamic, real-time behavioral profiles (digital twins) for users, devices, applications, and network resources. A predictive machine learning ensemble evaluates deviations against these digital twin baselines to calculate a Risk Probability Index (RPI) and forecast potential cyberattacks prior to exploitation. Upon detecting an elevated risk, an autonomous response engine dynamically executes targeted security mitigations, including software-defined network micro-segmentation, session isolation, privilege token reduction, dynamic key rotation, and adaptive honeypot deployment. The system further incorporates a privacy-preserving federated learning framework for cross-organizational intelligence aggregation without exposing raw data, and a permissioned blockchain ledger to store immutable, cryptographically verifiable audit trails of security events, autonomous response executions, and digital forensic evidence.
