Abstract: Abstract: The initial phase of developing an Autonomous UA V Navigation System with real-time obstacle avoidance, addressing the escalating demand for advanced UA V applications in delivery, traffic monitoring, search and rescue operations, and military engagements. A high-level autonomous UA V is imperative to enhance performance· in these diverse ·domains. Reinforcement Learning . · (RL) serves as the. cornerstone for achievmg autonomy in UA V navigation·. The project focuses on the meticulous selection and integration of key components. A suitable flight controller and an onboard computer are identified to. process ·real-time data from the environment. The integration of control and navigation modules is a focal point, emphasizing precise motor control, . stabilization, and GPS-based positioning. The pivotal role of the onboard computer in executing navigation algorithms and· enabling seamless communication within the system is underscored. Results from. this phase demonstrate the· successful integration of components, constituting a foundational stride toward realizing full auionomy in UA V navigation. This work sets the stage for. subsequent ·phases, guiding· the project toward its overarching objective of a highly autonomous UA V system with robust obstacle avoiuance capabilities.
