Abstract: The present invention relates to an AI-enabled smart brain health monitoring system using IoT for real-time assessment of mental states. The system comprises EEG electrodes, a BioAmp acquisition module, a microcontroller-based processing unit, signal preprocessing, feature extraction, artificial intelligence classification, visualization, and automated report generation modules. EEG signals acquired from the subject are filtered using high-pass, low-pass, and notch filters and are subsequently processed to extract band-power features, Hjorth parameters, and statistical characteristics. A TensorFlow-based neural network classifies the processed EEG signals into Neutral, Anxiety, and Depression categories. The classified outputs are displayed through real-time visualizations and automatically generated PDF reports. The invention provides a portable, low-cost, non-invasive, and IoT-enabled solution for continuous brain health assessment suitable for healthcare, research, telemedicine, and remote monitoring application.
