MUMBAI, India, Aug. 17 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641095008 A) filed by St. Mother Theresa Engineering College on August 05, 2026, for Ai-Driven Self-Healing Smart Microgrid With Vehicle-To-Grid (v2g) Integration For Resilient Renewable Energy Management.

Abstract: The present invention relates to an AI-driven self-healing smart microgrid with vehicle-to-grid (V2G) integration for resilient renewable energy management. The system integrates renewable energy generators, stationary energy storage, electric vehicles, bidirectional chargers, controlla-ble loads, distributed sensors, and utility- grid interfaces through an intelligent energy manage-ment architecture. An artificial intelligence forecasting engine predicts renewable generation and electrical demand using operational, environmental, and historical information. A V2G co-ordination module manages bidirectional energy exchange according to vehicle battery condi- tions, user requirements, and microgrid energy needs. A self-healing control framework detects and localizes electrical faults, isolates affected sections, reconfigures power flow, performs con-trolled islanding, and restores healthy sections using available energy resources. Predictive equipment monitoring identifies developing degradation conditions. The system thereby im-proves renewable energy utilization, grid resilience, energy reliability, EV integration, fault re-covery, load continuity, operational efficiency, and autonomous microgrid management under normal, emergency, and islanded operating conditions.
