Abstract: ABSTRACT AI-DRIVEN SENTIMENT ANALYSIS SYSTEM FOR MENTAL HEALTH ASSESSMENT A method (100) for performing sentiment analysis for mental health assessment includes receiving input text data (102), pre-processing the input text data via tokenization, lemmatization, and feature extraction (104), and analyzing the pre-processed text data in parallel using a rule-based sentiment analyzer and a transformer-based sentiment model (106, 108). The method (100) further includes fusing outputs from the rule-based sentiment analyzer and the transformer-based sentiment model into a combined sentiment score (110), classifying a mental health sentiment based on the combined sentiment score (112), and outputting a classification result (116).
