Abstract: ABSTRACT The present invention relates to an AI-driven smart canteen management and predictive food waste optimization system (100) for automating institutional food service operations. The system (100) comprises a student interaction module (101), an administrator interaction module (102), a backend processing server (103), a recommendation engine (104), a database module (105), an inventory management module (106), a pre-booking and order orchestration module (107), a predictive demand estimation module (108), a food waste optimization module (109), and an analytics module (110). The backend processing server (103) coordinates communication among the modules to facilitate personalized food recommendations, real-time order lifecycle management, inventory monitoring, predictive demand estimation, and optimized food preparation. The analytics module (110) generates operational reports for administrative decision-making. The integrated architecture improves workflow synchronization, minimizes food wastage, enhances resource utilization, and provides efficient, intelligent management of institutional dining environments.
