MUMBAI, India, Oct. 12 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641119365 A) filed by Shree Venkateshwara Hi-Tech Engineering College on October 06, 2026, for Ai-Enabled Early Detection And Risk Prediction System For Polycystic Ovary Syndrome.
Inventors include Muruga Priya P; and Dr. K. G. Maheswari.
The application for the patent was published on October 09, 2026, under issue no. 41/2026.
Abstract: The present invention relates to the development of an AI-Based Early Detection and Risk Prediction System for Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) (100) that is designed for early detection of subjects with risk factors for PCOS. The system includes: data acquisition sub-module (101) for collecting demographic, menstrual, anthropometric, hormonal, metabolic, medical history, and lifestyle data; data pre-processing sub-module (102) for data cleaning, validation, and normalization; and feature extraction sub-module (103) for extracting relevant clinical and physiological features. The detection and prediction sub-module (104) make a prediction of PCOS by analysis of the features with the help of one or more machine learning models. The risk assessment sub-module (105) estimates a risk score and risk category while the decision support sub-module (106) gives an explanation and recommendation for clinical evaluation. The monitoring and learning sub-module (107) allow for longitudinal monitoring and model updating based on validated health data. FIG.1
