Abstract: The present invention discloses an AI-Enabled Food Waste-to-Electricity Generation System for Smart Communities that efficiently converts biodegradable food waste into renewable electrical energy through the integration of artificial intelligence, Internet of Things (IoT), intelligent sensing, automated waste segregation, preprocessing, anaerobic digestion, biogas purification, electricity generation, and smart energy management technologies. The system employs AI-based computer vision for automatic identification and segregation of biodegradable waste, while IoT sensors continuously monitor operational parameters including temperature, pH, gas composition, pressure, moisture, and digestion efficiency. Artificial intelligence dynamically optimizes the biological conversion process, predicts equipment maintenance requirements, forecasts electricity generation, and intelligently manages energy distribution to local loads, battery storage systems, or utility grids. A cloud-based monitoring platform enables remote supervision, real-time analytics, automated reporting, and fault diagnosis.
