Abstract: AI-Enabled Multi-Drone Traffic Monitoring and Dynamic Route Diversion System ABSTRACT OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to an intelligent traffic management system using cooperative drone-to-drone communication for real-time traffic monitoring, congestion mitigation, and emergency vehicle prioritization. Multiple drones are deployed above traffic intersections during peak hours to monitor vehicle movement, traffic density, and emergency vehicle presence. The drones exchange traffic information with neighboring drones and collaboratively determine traffic control actions across multiple intersections. Based on real- time traffic conditions, the system dynamically adjusts signal priorities and generates route diversion instructions displayed on electronic signboards. A centralized traffic control center receives live traffic data, drone status information, and system decisions for continuous monitoring and supervision. When an emergency vehicle is detected, the system establishes a priority corridor by coordinating traffic signals and redirecting surrounding traffic.The system also performs predictive traffic analysis to anticipate congestion and initiate proactive route diversion before severe congestion occurs.
