Abstract: Power electronic converters are very important for electric vehicles, autonomous vehicles, Autonomous Vehicles and other smart energy systems. They help change energy and keep voltage levels stable. Among these switching DC–DC converters are very important for giving power to electronic parts.. They can have problems with parts breaking sensors not working right and attacks from hackers. Current ways usually look at problems and hacking attacks separately which makes it hard to tell the difference between a fault and an attack. This study introduces an AI-powered Secure Digital Twin system to find problems and spot hacking attacks in switching DC– DC converters. A Digital Twin made in MATLAB/Simulink is used to show how the converter acts when everything is working and when there are issues. A Gated Recurrent Unit model predicts how the converter should act. Then differences between what's measured and what the Digital Twin predicts are created to find strange patterns. These differences are used by an XGBoost classifier to tell the difference between working, broken parts, faulty sensors and hacking attacks. A decision part gives the actions like sending warning messages and using the Digital Twin to guess values when measurements are not reliable. The system is tested in situations to check how well it predicts how good it is at finding problems and how strong it is, against attacks
