The application for the patent was published on October 30, 2026, under issue no. 44/2026.

Abstract: The present invention relates to an intelligent self-healing polymer system (100) for autonomous structural regeneration. The system comprises an embedded sensing arrangement (101), an AI-based prediction and healing-control engine (103), a digital twin modeling and simulation unit (109), a stigmergic molecular communication layer (104), catalyst activation micro-capsules (102), an autonomous polymerization and cross-linking region (107), and a regenerative structural stabilization region (108). The embedded sensing arrangement (101) detects structural damage through electrical resistance variations. The AI-based prediction and healing-control engine (103) and digital twin modeling and simulation unit (109) predict crack propagation and determine a healing response. The stigmergic molecular communication layer (104) coordinates distributed healing agents using local structural and material-state information. Activated catalyst activation micro-capsules (102) release reactive polymer constituents at a damage/healing region (106), where localized polymerization and cross-linking regenerate the damaged structure. Continuous monitoring enables subsequent adaptive healing cycles.
