Abstract: ABSTRACT TITLE: AI-ENABLED URBAN MOBILITY INFRASTRUCTURE FOR AUTONOMOUS AND CONNECTED TRANSPORTATION An AI-enabled urban mobility infrastructure system for autonomous and connected transportation control comprises a multi-modal sensor array, a field-programmable gate array implementing a deterministic pipeline state machine, an input- output memory management unit with hardware-latched isolation registers, an interconnect firewall circuit with latched policy registers, and a secure element containing a physically unclonable function and a monotonic counter. The pipeline state machine processes sensor data through five stages including sensor ingestion, perception fusion, route decision, attestation generation, and a commit-and-lock stage. Upon successful attestation, the commit-and-lock stage generates a hardware commit signal that simultaneously write-locks the memory isolation registers, latches the firewall policy registers, and increments the monotonic counter, establishing a hardware-enforced lock chain ensuring only attested route commands reach the actuator command memory.
