Abstract: The invention discloses an AI-enabled Wildlife Collision Risk Prediction and Prevention System for intelligent transportation safety in wildlife corridors, forest roads, railway crossings, and high-risk transportation environments. The system comprises an RFID wildlife tracking module for monitoring tagged wildlife and a multi- sensor wildlife detection module including thermal cameras, visual cameras, acoustic sensors, and motion detectors for identifying untagged wildlife. A traffic and environmental monitoring module collects vehicle movement, traffic density, weather, and visibility information. An AI-based wildlife collision risk engine processes wildlife, environmental, and transportation data to generate a Wildlife Collision Risk Index (WCRI) indicating the likelihood of collision between wildlife and approaching vehicles. Based on the WCRI, an adaptive warning and collision prevention module activates alerts, warning displays, vehicle notifications, and emergency actions. An adaptive learning framework continuously updates prediction parameters using wildlife movement patterns and transportation outcomes, improving prediction accuracy and transportation safety.
