The system integrates multi-modal sensing units, including cameras, infrared sensors, and load detectors, with an artificial intelligence (AI) processing module that analyzes waste characteristics such as material type, size, density, moisture content, and flow behavior. Based on AI-driven classification, the system dynamically reconfigures conveyor parameters including chute angles, separator gaps, roller speeds, vibration intensity, and pneumatic-mechanical rejection mechanisms to optimize segregation performance. The invention further incorporates predictive jam-detection and autonomous self-clearance features to minimize blockages, downtime, and manual intervention. A closed-loop feedback architecture enables continuous learning and performance optimization by updating operational parameters in real time. The adaptive and modular design enhances material recovery efficiency, reduces contamination, and improves throughput.
