Abstract: The present invention relates to forensic science and analytical chemistry, providing a phytochemical forensic spray composition for latent fingerprint visualization and an AI-integrated system for digital ridge enhancement and pattern analysis. Conventional reagents (ninhydrin, cyanoacrylate, silver nitrate) are toxic, laboratory- dependent, and lack real-time digital enhancement. The invention provides a biodegradable spray comprising plant leaf extracts (1–10% w/v) from Lawsonia inermis, Azadirachta indica, Camellia sinensis, or Eucalyptus globulus in an ethanol-water co-solvent (50–80% v/v) at pH 4–6, optionally with metal ion complexing agents and nano-fluorescent enhancers. The phytochemical components — tannins, flavonoids, and phenolic acids — act synergistically to develop visible and UV-fluorescent fingerprint ridge patterns on porous and non-porous surfaces within 1–3 minutes. Captured images are processed by an AI system performing Gabor ridge enhancement, minutiae extraction, and pattern matching in under 5 seconds. The invention is applicable for on-site crime scene investigation, forensic laboratories, law enforcement, and security agencies.
