The application for the patent was published on July 03, 2026, under issue no. 27/2026.
Abstract: An AI-integrated smart network interface card (100) is disclosed for real-time traffic prioritization and inline threat filtering. The system includes a physical interface module (110), packet parsing engine (120), feature extraction unit (130), embedded AI inference accelerator (140), deterministic scheduler (150), threat filtering engine (160), DMA controller (170), and secure model management interface (180). Incoming packets are parsed and converted into feature vectors, processed by an on-board neural inference accelerator to generate priority classifications and threat probability scores. Packets exceeding programmable thresholds are blocked before direct memory access to host memory. Approved packets are scheduled into hardware priority queues ensuring deterministic low-latency transmission. The architecture reduces CPU overhead, enhances security by pre-DMA filtering, and ensures scalable microsecond- level traffic intelligence suitable for cloud, edge, and high-speed network environments.
