Abstract: Indian agriculture continues to face low productivity and inconsistent profitability because the majority of small and marginal farmers lack timely, location-specific guidance on crop selection, expected yield, input cost and weather-related risk. This project presents AgriSmart an AI-Powered Crop Yield Prediction and Optimization System designed to bridge that gap through a single, easy-to-use multilingual web platform. The system accepts a farmer's pincode, land size and either a manually selected soil type or a photograph of the soil. A Gemini-based deep-vision model classifies the uploaded image into one of nine standard Indian soil categories (Alluvial, Black, Red, Laterite, Sandy, Clay, Loamy, Saline, Peaty) along with a confidence score. Live and historical weather parameters temperature, humidity, rainfall and wind are fetched in real time for the farmer's village and combined with soil and location features inside a hybrid Machine Learning engine. A Linear Regression model estimates yield, cost and revenue per hectare, while a Random- Forest-style suitability scorer ranks candidate crops on a 0–100 scale based on agronomic fit. The output is further refined by a Generative-AI layer (Google Gemini Flash) that produces village-specific planting windows, pest warnings, irrigation tips and recommended pesticides, enabling true optimization rather than a static forecast.
