MUMBAI, India, Aug. 12 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611069774 A) filed by Chitkara University on June 03, 2026, for Ai-Powered Intravenous Infusion Management System.
Inventors include Alisha Roy; and Preetika.
The application for the patent was published on August 07, 2026, under issue no. 32/2026.
Abstract: An AI-powered intravenous infusion management system comprising a drip chamber 101 attached to an auxiliary IV fluid source via a snap-fit clip 109 collects and analyzes chemistry of the IV fluid via an integrated pH sensor, an IV conduit 102 for facilitating fluid transfer equipped with a sensor suite for monitoring the fluid flowing through the conduit 102, enabling a microcontroller generates an alert upon detection of abnormal conditions, a linear actuator 106 coupled to a clamping unit 107 via a motorized rotary joint 108 to apply controlled pressure to the conduit 102 by clamping for tightening and loosening the conduit 102 adjusts flow rate in real- time, and a needle 110 to deliver the IV fluid to user and the needle 110 incorporating a monitoring module for monitoring the needle 110 alignment and application force in real-time, enabling the microcontroller provides real-time feedback to user via an embedded speaker.
