MUMBAI, India, Aug. 12 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641094635 A) filed by Easwari Engineering College; and Srm Institute Of Science And Technology, ramapuram Campus on August 05, 2026, for Ai Powered Predictive Maintenance For Industrial Air Compressor.
Inventors include M.; Dharani Selvan V; and Jayapriya. P.
The application for the patent was published on August 07, 2026, under issue no. 32/2026.
Abstract: The invention relates to an Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based predictive maintenance system for industrial air compressors using wireless multi-sensor monitoring and deep learning techniques. The system continuously acquires vibration, acoustic, pressure, and temperature data from the compressor through wireless sensors and transmits the collected data to a host computer for processing. The sensor data are preprocessed and analyzed using an unsupervised hybrid deep learning model comprising a Convolutional Autoencoder (CAE) and a Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) network to identify abnormal operating conditions and predict potential equipment failures at an early stage. The predicted machine health status is displayed through a real-time Streamlit dashboard, enabling timely maintenance decisions. The invention reduces unplanned downtime, minimizes maintenance costs, improves equipment reliability, and enhances operational efficiency in industrial environments.
