MUMBAI, India, July 13 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641083778 A) filed by Woxsen University on July 08, 2026, for Ai-Powered Solar Autonomous Robotic System For Aquatic Waste Recovery And Monitoring.

Inventors include Praneeth N; Bulla Joel Arpith; Koushal Kataram; Siddeshwar Kasetty; Shahul Parvez; and Raj Sehan Reddy.

The application for the patent was published on July 10, 2026, under issue no. 28/2026.

Abstract: The present invention discloses an autonomous aquatic waste recovery and environmental monitoring system configured for small and medium-sized water bodies. The system comprises a floating platform, propulsion units, a vision module, and a processing unit executing an artificial intelligence-based detection module for identifying floating waste. A navigation control unit directs the platform toward detected waste, and a collection mechanism selectively retrieves debris. The system further includes a solar-powered energy subsystem enabling extended operation and a plurality of sensors for monitoring environmental parameters. An Internet of Things (IoT) communication module transmits real-time data to a remote interface for analysis. The invention provides an integrated, cost-effective, and energy-efficient solution for intelligent waste collection and water quality monitoring with minimal human intervention.
