The application for the patent was published on June 19, 2026, under issue no. 25/2026.

Abstract: Urban flooding is an increasing concern affecting public safety, infrastructure, and the environment. Predicting flood risks in advance can help authorities take proactive measures to minimize damage and ensure timely response. This project aims to develop an Al-based model to predict urban flood conditions using satellite images and weather data. The dataset consists of environmental parameters such as rainfall intensity, temperature, humidity, water levels, and satellite imagery, along with geographical and terrain-related factors. Data preprocessing techniques, including image processing, handling missing values, and feature scaling, are applied to improve model performance. Various machine learning and deep learning models, such as Decision Trees, Random Forest, and Neural Networks, are evaluated based on accuracy metrics like RMSE and R2 score. The results provide insights into key factors contributing to urban flooding and the effectiveness of different predictive models. The project aims to contribute to disaster management and environmental monitoring by offering a reliable flood prediction system fordecision- makingandurbanplanning.
