Abstract: ABSTRACT The present invention relates to an airflow activated chemiluminescent room lighting device configured to generate visible illumination without electrical energy. The device comprises air inlet vents (102), an airflow capture balloon (103), a movement rod (106), an oscillation link mechanism (108), an actuator push plate (109), chemical cartridges (110, 112), and a mixing chamber (113). Human movement inside a room generates airflow that oscillates the airflow capture balloon (103), thereby mechanically actuating rupture of burst membranes (116, 117) associated with the chemical cartridges (110, 112). The released chemicals flow through oneway valves (118, 119) into the mixing chamber (113), thereby producing chemiluminescent light. The generated light is emitted through a diffuser panel (123) for indoor illumination. The invention provides an electricity-free, passive airflow responsive lighting system suitable for emergency, rural, disaster relief, and off-grid applications.
