Abstract: The invention relates to the field of non-ferrous metallurgy, and more particularly to heat-treatable aluminium alloys based on an aluminium-magnesium-silicon system, which can be used as materials for welded structural elements in construction and transport engineering, inter alia, in railway car manufacturing. The present aluminium alloy contains: silicon - 0.65-0.90 wt.%, magnesium - 0.40-0.75 wt.%, copper - 0.05-0.20 wt.%, manganese - 0.10-0.55 wt.%, zirconium - 0.03-0.12 wt.%, hydrogen - 0.5·10-5-4·10-5, wt.%, at least one element from the group consisting of strontium and gallium - 0.0005-0030 wt.% (combined or individually), at least one element from the group consisting of boron and carbon - 0.0001-0.003 wt.% (combined or individually), and the remainder aluminium and unavoidable impurities. The technical result of the invention is that of increasing the strength and fatigue life of semi-fabricated products, while maintaining the level of corrosion resistance and weldability thereof.
