Abstract: The invention discloses an adaptive clock synchronization method for distributed systems. A distributed node exchanges timestamped messages with a reference time source, measures communication latency, estimates local clock drift, evaluates confidence of timing samples, and applies a controlled correction to a local or logical clock. A synchronization interval is dynamically varied according to clock stability, network variability, and predicted skew. The method reduces influence of disturbed timing packets and supports accurate time coordination across heterogeneous distributed nodes under changing operating conditions.
