Abstract: Nowadays there is a lot of quality issues happening with respect to drinking water, and because water should be used judiciously for the next generations to come and to reduce the risk of diseases for humans related to Water, the water quality has to be tested and analysed according to the BIS Standards. The present invention relates to a Smart Water Quality Analyzer, an automated and intelligent system developed for real-time monitoring and assessment of drinking water quality. The system incorporates multiple sensors to measure essential water quality parameters including pH, turbidity, temperature, Total Dissolved Solids (TDS), and dissolved oxygen. The collected data is processed using a microcontroller and compared with the permissible limits specified by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) for drinking water. The analyzer provides instant results through a digital display and can transmit data remotely via IoT-based communication modules such as Wi-Fi or GSM networks. The system generates alerts whenever any monitored parameter exceeds the prescribed limits, enabling timely intervention and ensuring the safety of water intended for human consumption.
