Abstract: ABSTRACT AN ADJUSTABLE FOOTREST POSITIONING MECHANISM The adjustable footrest positioning mechanism (10) for motorcycles includes a left and right footpeg assembly (100, 200), powered by a motor gear mechanism (300) utilizing the motorcycle's battery. The footrest (106, 206) is operatively coupled to the footpeg assembly (106, 206) and can be continuously positioned over a range of positions for the rider. The motor gear assembly (300) comprises components such as a gear shaft pulley (305), gear shaft (306), pinion gear (307), and helical gear (308), which work together to ensure smooth movement and minimal noise. A central computer communicates commands to the motor gear assembly, allowing the footrest (106, 206) to withstand loads and provide a comfortable riding experience. Fig. 1
