The application for the patent was published on June 12, 2026, under issue no. 24/2026.
Abstract: The present invention is an AI-driven, IoT-enabled power factor correction (PFC) system designed to enhance the energy efficiency and operational reliability of synchronous motors in industrial and commercial applications. This system uses advanced AI algorithms to dynamically adjust the power factor in real-time based on load conditions, eliminating the need for manual intervention and maintaining optimal efficiency. Additionally, it incorporates harmonic compensation to mitigate the effects of harmonic distortions caused by non-linear loads, which can lead to equipment overheating, failure, and energy loss. An integrated energy recovery module captures waste energy from reactive power and harmonics, converting it back into usable power, thereby further improving energy efficiency and reducing costs. IoT- based sensors continuously monitor electrical parameters such as voltage, current, and harmonic levels, enabling remote diagnostics, control, and real-time alerts via mobile or web platforms.
