Abstract: The present invention relates to a cyber law decision support system for cybercrime investigation. The system comprises complaint details, offence attributes, jurisdiction information, and digital evidence metadata; a pre-processing and normalization module for structuring and standardizing received case data; an expert machine learning engine; a gating mechanism for dynamically assigning weights to expert models based on case-specific inputs; a legal knowledge base storing statutory provisions, procedural rules, and evidentiary standards under applicable Indian laws and continuously updated to reflect legislative and judicial changes; a decision support module for mapping outputs of the machine learning engine; an explainability module; and an output interface module. The system is integrated with digital policing infrastructure and maintains human oversight in final decision-making while assisting legal reasoning and investigation processes.
