Abstract: ABSTRACT AN AI-POWERED MULTILINGUAL LOCATION-AWARE TOURISM ASSISTANCE SYSTEM WITH VOICE AND VISUAL INTERACTION The present invention discloses an artificial intelligence powered multilingual location-aware tourism assistance system (100) comprising a frontend user interface layer (110), a backend API processing layer (120), an AI and external services layer (130), a four-stage cognitive processing pipeline (140), and a data storage layer (170). The system (100) integrates real-time multilingual speech recognition, large language model driven contextual response generation, optical character recognition for heritage inscription translation, and GPS-based nearby place discovery into a single unified web application platform. Users interact through text or voice in multiple Indian languages including English, Hindi, Marathi, and Gujarati.
