Abstract: The present disclosure relates to an air vent system (100). The air vent system (100) comprises a housing (102), a first set of vanes (104), a second set of vanes (106), a 5 first gear (108), a second gear (110), and a motor (118). The first set of vanes (104) and the second set of vanes (106) are pivotally mounted to the housing (102). The first gear (108) is operatively coupled to the first set of vanes (104). The second gear (110) is operatively coupled to the first gear (108). The second gear (110) comprises a first portion (110a) and a second portion (110b). The second portion 10 (110b) includes a plurality of tabs (111) snap-fitted into the housing (102). The motor (118) is operatively coupled to the second gear (110) and configured to drive the first gear (108) via the second gear (110) to rotate the first set of vanes (104). [FIG. 2]
