The application for the patent was published on August 07, 2026, under issue no. 32/2026.
Abstract: The present invention provides an anti-roll back protection system (100) for high mobility vehicles (HMVs) that integrates a solenoid-controlled mechanism to retain the service brake application, thereby maintaining braking force until the parking brake is fully engaged and preventing unintended rollback, without compounding of both the brake forces in the brake booster. The anti-roll back protection system (100) comprises a solenoid valve (102), a microcontroller (106), a pressure sensor (120), a hand brake valve (108), a foot brake valve (110), a parking control valve (112), a service control valve (114) and an air reservoir (118), which collectively regulate the application and release of braking force. The anti-roll back protection system (100) is integrated into existing HMVs with pneumatic braking to prevent unintended rollback by ensuring controlled retention of braking force during the transition from the service brake to the parking brake.
