Abstract: AN ANTICANCER HERBAL FORMULATION AND A METHOD OF PREPARATION THEREOF The present invention relates to an anticancer herbal formulation made from the leaves of Moringa oleifera, which is abundant in quercetin, a natural compound that has strong antioxidant and anticancer properties. The process comprises of selecting fresh Moringa leaves, which are then authenticated. The leaves undergo an extraction process using methanol to isolate quercetin yielding a concentrated extract. This extract is formulated by choosing the right combination of ingredients for quality and effectiveness. Each batch of formulation is thoroughly tested for strength, consistency and how quickly it dissolves in the body. Molecular docking studies suggest that quercetin can attach to specific proteins involved in cancer growth, indicating its potential to inhibit cancer cell division. This herbal formulation offers a cost-effective, low-toxicity alternative that could complement conventional therapies especially in resource limited areas.
