Abstract: ABSTRACT AN APPARATUS AND A METHOD FOR ENHANCING DRIVER SAFETY AND HEALTH IN AUTOMATIC VEHICLES The present disclosure discloses an apparatus (100) and a method (200) for enhancing driver safety and health in automatic vehicles. The apparatus (100) comprises a stationary base (102) configured for installation in the driver's footwell to provide a stable mounting foundation, a movable pedal (104) positioned to support the driver’s non-operational leg, and a controlled movement mechanism (106) to induce periodic oscillatory motion of the pedal. The oscillatory motion simulates dorsiflexion and plantarflexion of the ankle, promoting venous return and preventing blood stagnation. By actively engaging the non-operational leg, the apparatus discourages inadvertent dual-pedal use and enhances safe driving. The apparatus (100) includes adjustable movement profiles, ergonomic surfaces, monitoring sensors, and programmable motion parameters and is suitable for factory installation or retrofitting into automatic vehicles.
