Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to an apparatus (100) for high-density resonant DC-DC conversion. The apparatus (100) integrates a transformer and inductive elements onto a single EE core. The apparatus (100) incorporates a primary-side full-bridge high-frequency inverter (102) that drives an Inductor-Capacitor-Inductor-Transformer (LCL-T) resonant network (104) composed of inductors Lr (104-2) and L1 (104-4) along with a resonant capacitor (Cr) (104-6). Transformer windings are placed on a central limb of a core, while the inductors Lr (104-2) and L1 (104-4) occupy one or more outer limbs, forming a coupled magnetic structure (106) that enhances flux utilization and minimizes component count. On a secondary side, two switches and two diodes arranged as parallel half bridges enable controlled and bidirectional power transfer. A shared magnetic flux path in combination with the LCL-T resonant network (104) maintains soft-switching operation across a load range and produces an inherent constant-current to constant-voltage transition.
