A plurality of spikes (112) is circumferentially distributed around the central hub (104) and extends through the outer hub casing (106), each spike including a spike outer casing (114) and an internal rod arranged for axial movement. A suspension element (116) facilitates compressive and restorative displacement of the plurality of spikes (112) during terrain interaction, enabling formation of a dynamically adaptive outer profile. A supporting ring (108) maintains alignment and provides reinforcement for the plurality of spikes (112), while a stopper ring (110) limits inward displacement to preserve a stable radial geometry. The apparatus (102) maintains continuous ground contact across varying terrain conditions.
