The application for the patent was published on October 09, 2026, under issue no. 41/2026.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a structured system of Artificial Intelligence (AI) enhanced feedback generation for digital and e-learning environments that is tailored for each student according to their response. The system is based on the revised Bloom's Taxonomy, which is a commonly used educational taxonomy comprised of six cognitive processes: Remember, Understand, Apply, Analyse, Evaluate, Create. Four dimensions of knowledge (Factual: A, Conceptual: B, Procedural: C and Metacognitive: D) are also included in these cognitive levels, allowing a multidimensional representation of student learning and cognitive development. The present system uses the analysis of learning and performance at various cognitive levels to build up an individual cognitive profile for every learner. The proposed system is different from conventional feedback systems, which typically provides general feedback or requires lots of manual feedback from the teacher, and provide individualized, actionable, and need-based feedback. This not only promotes learning efficiency but also helps to relieve the burden of the teachers and administrators, and focus the students' learning. The invention is scalable, domain independent, and integrates easily into LMS, and can be used in schools, universities, professional training, and large, online learning environments across a variety of academic disciplines.
